A Book I Love (3/30)
I’m awful at picking favorites, a problem that haunts me once in a while, but since I wouldn’t be answering the question properly without one:
I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings by Maya Angelou
The title of the book is also the title of her famous poem. I love them both.
Other Top Picks:
What I Wish I Knew When I Was 20 by Tina Seelig
The Heavenly Man by Brother Yoon
All Quiet On the Western Front by Erich Maria Remarque
Freedom Next Time: Resisting the Empire by John Pilger
The Book of James, Proverbs, Romans and Esther in the Bible
I’ve read some good ones recently, but those are a good mix from the past and present. I also enjoy poem collections but for your sanity - I didn’t mention them here :P
I would love book recommendations! Thanks! :)
